The Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection
, in cooperation with the Norwegian partner - the Norwegian Institute for Air Research (NILU), implements the project "Strengthening of atmospheric deposition assessment in Poland based on Norwegian experience" under the program "Environment, Energy and Climate Change", area "Mitigation of climate change and adaptation to its effects", financed by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism for 2014-2021 (EEA FM 2014-2021). Planned project implementation period: 2021-2022.

As part of the project implementation, the following will be developed: the concept of modernization and optimization of deposition measurements in Poland, the concept of the quality assurance/ quality control system (QA/QC) for deposition measurements, the guidance for the assessment of atmospheric deposition, the guidance for visualization and making available of atmospheric deposition data via CIEP’s „Air Quality” website. In addition, equipment for the measurement of atmospheric deposition will be purchased.
